"Warmest Winter" was created in my last year of High school. I was born in the coldest Month of February, so I really wanted to capture the magic and warmth of humans versus weather. Her curls have frost bite and her nose and cheek bones are dusted with snow. The juxtaposition of warm and cool tones remind me of our daily connection to nature and all of it's uncertainty. This is one of my most prized paintings and I can finally share it with you!
